Each year the The Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem hold an Investiture and Promotion Service to reward members who have given service to the Order and to install new members. This was held in Perth on 3rd June with a service at St Johns Kirk. The Order is a non-profit making International Ecumenical Christian Order of Chivalry. It is dedicated to the care and assistance of the poor and sick, especially those with Leprosy. Deputy Lieutenant Jimmy Denholm attended with Baillie Claire McLaren from Perth & Kinross Council.
