Deputy Lieutenant William Jackson had enormous pleasure in attending the 40th Blair Atholl Jamborette, where he received a warm welcome from Camp Chief Colin Peters. He was given a wonderful tour of the camp and appreciated the opportunity to meet some of the scouts and the leaders.
He was really impressed to see how many different activities had been organised for everyone, with the efficiency of the logistics, but mostly with all the smiling faces of everyone joining in and having fun.
All of the Leaders who made the camp possible deserve massive recognition – the volunteers, from both Scotland and across the world, play their part in bringing the magic to the Field of Dreams and allowing participants to experience international friendship, adventure, and memories that will last a lifetime. Without them, there would be no Jamborette! Thank you to you all for all that you do.
