Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust are currently running an project ‘A Tree for Every Child in Perthshire’. Pupils from Our Lady’s Primary School have taken part in 3 educational tutorials about the importance of trees and their care, and yesterday planted trees at Perth Crematorium. They were presented with a commemorative plaque for The Queen’s Green Canopy by Deputy Lieutenant Alex Cairncross. The Woodland Trust have made 3 million trees available to schools and communities. There’s still time to order trees for delivery in March so why not get your local school involved? https://queensgreencanopy.org/get-involved/schools/
