In his capacity as Deputy Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross, Andy Middlemiss laid a poppy wreath for Remembrance Day in Kinross. Andy is the local co-ordinator for the Poppy Appeal.

Richard Scott, who runs the Loch Leven Laundry, in Kinross High Street, decorates his shop window according to the season. Deputy Lieutenant Andy Middlemiss, who is the Kinross area organiser for the appeal visited to view the excellent poppy themed window display.

Kinross Sainsburys is a keen supporter of the Poppy appeal. Deputy Lieutenant Andy Middlemiss was joined by ex Royal Navy veteran, Niall Bennet, and a member of staff for one of the many shifts collecting for the appeal on Saturday 12 November.

Deputy Lieutenant Andy Middlemiss joined pupils at Kinross High school on 3 mornings to attend Remembrance themed school assemblies. Pupils did themed readings and Andy, a retired soldier gave a remembrance reflection on how to remember, and who he planned to remember this year.
