We wish our longest-serving Deputy Lieutenant, Dr James Kynaston, a very happy birthday and much happiness in the future as he retires from the Lieutenancy.
James has served as Deputy Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross for 27 years, commissioned by former Lord-Lieutenant Sir David Montgomery on 30 July 1991. The retired GP participated in Royal visits, most recently HRH The Princess Royal at Letham4All, brought an extensive knowledge of local charities and organisations to the Lieutenancy, and supported many nominations for personal Honours.
We look forward to raising a glass to James at our forthcoming Lieutenancy dinner.
