Deputy Lieutenant joined Joy Tiley to celebrate her 100th birthday and presented a card from The King and Queen.
Joy was born in Manchester and has a brother who lives in Carlisle. She trained as a Primary School teacher, gained several qualifications including a Masters Degree in Education. She was a senior lecturer at Coventry College of Education. When Joy retired she moved to Scotland.
Joy now lives in Milnathort and enjoyed chatting to Jeffy about her childhood and early teaching career.
