Prestigious cadet role for Harry

A Perthshire youngster has been appointed cadet to the Queen’s official representative in Perth and Kinross.

Cadet Sgt Harry Bath, from Morrison’s Academy Combined Cadet Force (CCF), Crieff, was appointed by

Stephen Leckie, Lord-Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross, at Crieff Hydro Hotel on Monday.

He was watched by a proud Lieutenant Colonel Mike Clayton, contingent commander at Morrison’s Academy CCF.

The Lord-Lieutenant’s cadet is the aide and representative of the cadet forces to the British royal family and the Lord Lieutenant.

Cadet Luke Appleyard was also appointed to the position in the same week as Cadet Sgt Bath.
