It was “back to school” for Deputy Lieutenant Alex Cairncross when she joined Catherine from Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust to launch their tree planting initiative to plant a tree for every child.
Pupils at Strathallan learned about tree planting with volunteer Ian from The Woodland Trust, which has made 3 million trees available to schools and communities for the Queen’s Green Canopy. A copse was planted on the golf course.
