Perth welcomed guests from around the globe to celebrate some very special friendships: 70 years twinned with Aschaffenburg, 35 years twinned with Cognac, 25 years twinned with Perth, Canada, and 20 years twinned with Perth Australia.
Guests enjoyed Civic Receptions, an evening in Perth Museum, European Pipe band Championships, Gala Dinner and Ceilidh, Church Service to celebrate the 900th Anniversary of St John’s Kirk, wreath laying, Perth Salute, Concert and a day out in Highland Perthshire. The Lord-Lieutenant, Vice Lord-Lieutenant and Deputy Lieutenants enjoyed taking part in the celebrations and making new friends from our twin cities.
